Meet the Owner—a Veteran With Deep Local Roots
My name is Calvin Grant, and I’m the lead climber, owner, and operator of Three Peaks Tree Service LLC. I live in Eugene, Springfield, and surrounding Lane County areas. with my wife and our two sons (ages 4 and 2). Starting this business wasn’t just about earning a living — it was about creating something lasting for my family and serving a community I care deeply about.
I’ve spent the past 15 years working in tree care — trimming, removing, and bucking wood — but this is the year I officially launched Three Peaks as a professional climbing-based tree service. Before this, I spent 7 years building high-voltage substations across the Portland area and served 7 years of active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard.
My background is a patchwork of hands-on, high-responsibility work:

- Small engine mechanic
- Farmhand on multiple properties
- Substation construction and field safety
- And now, full-time climbing arborist
These experiences taught me what matters: communication, safety, quality, and showing up for people with integrity. That’s how I run this business.
